Tobago in Trinidad was recommended to me. Anyone been there? Seems flights there aren't too bad. Is there much there other than birds and beaches?

Thinking also of Nicaragua as well. Reasonable airfare to there as well... and I speak some Spanish so it'll be easy to get around. Will be carrying a backpack so I'm not sure about the transport infrastructure. Any knowledge of that would be cool as well. :-)
